3 Luxury Holiday Gift Ideas for Your Employees

Posted by Insightlink on 12/05/17

As a business owner, you likely spend a great deal of time at the office and doing everything you can to ensure your customers are always happy. Of course, there's a dedicated team of people who assist in this endeavor and are right in the thick of things alongside you: your hard-working employees.

Now that the holiday season is fast approaching, you'll no doubt want to do something to reward and thank your employees for their ongoing dedication and loyalty. And since you all spend so much time at work, you may want to focus on giving gifts that your valued employees can put to good use and enjoy while they're on the job. With that in mind, these three gift ideas are sure to put a smile on your employees’ faces this holiday season, while also helping to showcase your genuine appreciation for their hard work.

1. In-Office Massage Therapy

Your team of office workers may occasionally be dealing with a variety of ailments, including headaches, sore shoulders and back pain. Help relieve their stress and pain by treating the entire team to a year’s worth of in-office massages. Start by Googling a term like “corporate massage therapist” to see what local businesses offer this service.

On the days the massage therapy appointments take place, try to make it an easier workday for everyone by scheduling fewer appointments and/or assigning a smaller workload. As an added bonus, you might also consider treating the office to a nice lunch.

2. A Fancy Coffee Maker

If your employees’ desks typically have a stack of old Starbucks cups present at all times, investing in a gourmet office coffee maker would no doubt save them money and make them feel more cheerful and perky each morning.

As Our Kids Mom notes, upgrading to an amazing, luxurious coffee maker like a Keurig will be seen as a welcomed upgrade from the traditional ho-hum coffee that's found in most offices. And it's something most everyone is bound to enjoy.

A great option is the Jura E8 Fully Automatic Coffee Machine available from retailers like Bed, Bath and Beyond. The coffee machine, which will run you $2,000, can crank out gourmet lattes, tasty macchiatos and scrumptious espressos as effectively as a well-trained barista in a cute, green apron.

3. New Office Furniture

Those same devoted employees who are happy to put in some long hours alongside you deserve only the best. If your office chairs and desks are starting to show their age or are just plain uncomfortable, then it's definitely time to up the furniture ante with some luxurious pieces designed to make them feel more at ease.

Seating Mind sells a variety of ergonomic office chairs at a number of different price points. In addition to looking great, these cushy chairs will help your employees' backs and necks stay limber and loose. While you're at it, invest in some new desks or workstations.

Then, once these new desks arrive, visit an Etsy store like Garo Signs to order personalized desk nameplates for each of your employees. The handmade signs feature a wooden base, glass plate and beautiful vinyl letters that can display someone's name and title in a number of different colors.
